Beginning June 1 until mid September Jaemor Farms harvest some of the best peaches in Georgia. We grow over 20 varieties of peaches. Mostly yellow flesh but several white flesh and also nectarines. Yellow flesh peaches have the most peach flavor and white flesh peaches have the sweetest flavor.
Peaches always have to be picked ripe. They do not ripe well after they have been picked. You can keep peaches and nectarines for one to three days but you have to be very careful, one small bruise and it will go bad on that spot.
